Mariinsky Ballet dancer May Nagahisa has been selected for the “Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2021” (30 people under 30 representing Asia) announced by Forbes Asia in April 2021, and awarded “Featured Honoree” (Special Award).
After studying at Masako Fukada Ballet Academy in Hyogo and the Princess Grace Academy in Monaco, May Nagahisa joined the Mariinsky Ballet as trainee. She promoted to Second Soloist at the age of 18 in 2018, and has performed the leading roles of “Romeo and Juliet” and “Giselle” and others.
◼️ What is Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2021?
Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia is the project the magazine Forbes select talents under 30 who are active in different fields in the countries of Asia-Pacific region from various categories such as art, technology, media, sports, and so on. This year, from over 2500 nominees, 300 people in total of 10 categories were selected. It is an internationally prestigious award. Football player Shinji Kagawa and tennis player Naomi Osaka are among the selected talents in past.
